Import products to your Studio

You can import products created by Grexx and by other Grexx Platform developers from Grexx Marketplace so that you can use the functionality in your application.

To import a product:

1. Open Grexx Marketplace, select the Products page, and then browse or search for a product.
2. Open the page for the individual product.
3. Click Download and then select the Studio that you want to add the product to. If the Download option is not displayed or a Studio is not listed, check that you have Owner or Buyer permissions.
4. Return to your Studio and navigate to Products > Available products.
5. A single product may include multiple dependencies, such as casetypes, datasets, roles, and templates. These are listed on the Available products page. Click Import all not imported to import the product and its dependencies. It is not possible to import only some elements of a product.

Once the product has been imported, the elements become visible in the relevant parts of your Studio, such as the Casetypes, Datasets, or Templates pages. You can now use the product in your application.

For example, if you have imported a system service, create a casetype activity to add a new system service case. Either use mappings to provide the inputs for the new case or display a form for users to enter the required inputs. Similarly, if you have imported a widget plugin, add the plugin to a view.

Products on Grexx Marketplace may be updated by the creator of the product. You can import the latest version of a product by repeating the steps outlined above.

Tip:

If you have enabled Studio explorer, you can group the elements of an imported product into folders to make them easier to manage.
