Platform forms

Platform forms allow you to use the same form on multiple casetypes. This is useful when configuring Publish event and Consume event activities for an event bus. In future, this functionality will be extended to support other use cases.

To create and edit platform forms, navigate to Platform > Platform forms. Use the form designer to create the form, in the same way as a casetype form.

Note that currently you can only add bare fields to the form. To map bare fields to case attributes, add the same external reference to both the form field and the relevant attribute. This is useful if you want to populate the fields automatically when the form is loaded (i.e. map all Casedata values to Task in), or copy data from the form to the case (i.e. map all Task out values to casedata). You can use the same external reference for attributes on different casetypes and/or a platform attribute.
