Inline edit widget
The inline edit widget is deprecated and can no longer be added to views.
An inline edit widget allows you to display the details of an existing case and give users an option to edit the individual fields. This is similar to an activity widget, but rather than submitting the form associated with the activity, users edit and save changes to individual fields in the form.
You can only use an inline edit widget with a form activity that belongs to the current casetype. For example, you can add an inline edit widget to the view of the User
casetype in order to display the details of the current user and allow those users with rights on the activity to update the user's details.
To configure an inline edit widget, select both the form activity and a suitable form. This can either be the form associated with the activity, or a different form that contains relevant fields. The latter option is useful if you want to change the form layout or other details when making the activity available via an inline edit widget.
